NETC
- A US Department of Education Challenge Grant supports Navajo Education Technology Consortium which is 98 member schools from throughout the Navajo Nation along with nine project partners. NITI brings its cultural curriculum model to the Consortium in training sessions in Gallup & Shiprock, New Mexico and Window Rock & Kayenta, Arizona. Cultural Curriculum Models
- NITI developed models for use by teachers for creating culturally relevant, tribal specific web pages. Since its inception, NITI has trained teachers nationwide using the model which was developed in hands-on workshops with teachers. The links on this page are to the 5 model web pages.
NITI GRITI
- The NITI Grass Roots IndianTeachers Inservice was funded by National Science Foundation Grant No. REC-9554472 and is where the NITI cultural curriculum model was developed. These links are to pages created by NITI GRITI trained teachers.
