Carla Lopez, Mestiza, is Karen Buller’s Assistant. Lopez brings to NITI experience as an advocate for poor people in the areas of law, health and education. In addition to extensive experience in a poor people’s law center, Lopez also served as a birth assistant and health educator for pregnant teens. Lopez recently completed six years of service as an elected member of the Santa Fe Public Schools Board of Education.
